Time is Ticking

It’s been 13 days since I submitted the appeal, the State of Arizona has 30 days from submission to respond.  Here is what I have been doing in the waiting….

*Brad was here for 10 of these days, it was so good!

*Friends, Dennis and Clara, came in one weekend and we did tourist things, had deep conversations and good belly laughs.

*Brad and Dennis had a ride in a Waymo.  Phoenix and San Francisco are the only cities who offer this driverless car service.  If you know Brad or Dennis, ask them about the experience.

*Friends, Jeremy, Jess and Seth came to Phoenix for spring break, we enjoyed several meals with them and also got to go SXSing with them.  We also made new friends on our SXS trip.

*Today marks 192 days since we arrived at the desert.

*Dutch Bros is the favorite coffee shop in the area.  On the 1^st Wednesday of each month they give out free stickers. I picked up my 7^th sticker this past week. 

*Ty and Kaden came Easter weekend.  Lots of hanging out at the house, deep conversations, hiking, assembling furniture and jumping into a very chilly pool!

*Kaden turned 20 years old on April 2.

*Brad and I celebrated 29 years of marriage on April 5.

*On March 25^th, Stevan returned to YWAM Louisville for another 5 months to complete the next level of Discipleship training. He sent me this picture of his group, please pray for all of them as they seek God and serve Him in mission.

*The Desert continues to experience a super bloom of wildflowers. 

*The cacti are starting to bloom, it’s so pretty.

*Had our first 100-degree spring day yesterday.

Everyone went home Monday morning, yesterday I was sad. I love it when people are here, it makes the time go faster. I’m trying to find ways to pass the time.  There are always projects to do, it takes motivation to get them done.
